We sit just beneath the church of St Patrick’s Soho, offering a calm place for anyone to stop in. Some visit for a warm drink and a seat. Others are drawn to the chapel beside the café. Many simply appreciate the atmosphere. Whatever brings you here, our aim is to make you feel welcome and at ease.

At the heart of Manoppello is the Christian call to welcome. We try to create a space where people are received with gentleness, patience, and attention. This spirit guides everything we do.
Our purpose is simple. Serve good coffee. Offer a peaceful atmosphere. Keep the doors open to neighbours, visitors, and those who need a place to rest. In doing so, the café supports the wider mission of the parish and the outreach work that takes place above and around us.

Just beside the café is the chapel where the Blessed Sacrament is kept. Its presence gives the space a steady centre. Anyone is welcome to slip inside for a moment of stillness, reflection, or prayer.
Part of a bigger mission
Manoppello is one small expression of the life of St Patrick’s. The parish is known for its welcome, its openness to those searching for faith, and its commitment to the vulnerable. The café reflects these values in a gentle way. We are not a separate venture but a home within the parish, shaped by the same desire to meet people where they are.
Our coffee comes from Monmouth Coffee Company and is prepared by trained baristas who care about craft. We keep things simple and focus on doing them well.
A curated selection of Catholic books, spiritual classics, and devotional items sourced from monasteries and convents. Each piece is chosen with care and carries a sense of prayerful tradition.
A small chapel sits just off the café, where the Blessed Sacrament is reserved. It offers a quiet place to pray, reflect, or rest in stillness.

Manoppello is run by a dedicated team of volunteers and staff who give their time to serve others. Their warmth, attention to detail, and care for each person who walks through the door shape the atmosphere of the café. Because so many people offer their time freely, the café is able to support the parish’s outreach to those who are homeless or struggling.
